Shoshanna Szuch of Charleston Marketing Achieves High Public Speaking Award
SHOSHANNA SZUCH, Owner and Creative Director of CHARLESTON MARKETING,
a full
service marketing company, has achieved the Distinguished Toastmaster
designation. Distinguished Toastmaster is achieved after participating
in a rigorous
training program, which encouraged Shoshanna compete on both
a state and national level. As a result of Shoshanna\'s participation
with Toastmasters International, she developed an educational program
for small businesses titled, \"Planned Marketing for Growth\". This
program has been well received by groups of realtors, the Daniel
Island Business Association and Charleston Trident Association of
Realtors, to name a few. The program is designed to help people
understand the numerous aspects
of marketing, and how marketing is affected by anything and
everything that a company does. Understanding lets the business
put together a plan using guerilla-marketing
tactics, or more advanced tactics. Shoshanna explains why it
is important to create goals, plans and objectives in order to be
successful as well as trying to help you understand about your own
company what it is that makes you better than the competition. Another
important topic that she touches is that companies should know when
to say \"no.\" If you think you shouldn\'t take on a new project
because you\'re already overbooked, then it\'s probably a good idea
not to. Finally, it\'s important to review your goals and objectives
regularly. This way you know what you wanted to do in the beginning
and how close you are to that goal now. She has engagements for
February 21, at the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors “Plugged
In” Tech Fair and Trade show, topic: Internet Marketing; March 22,
at the Women at Work luncheon, topic: Catering to Hispanic Residents
and Businesses; Career Day March 3 and March 24 through the Trident
Education and Business Alliance.
